Sealed (VRLA) AGM Batteries

AGM batteries, which stands for Absorbent Glass Mat, utilize a glass-fiber mat to absorb the electrolyte between the plates through capillary action. These batteries are ideal for delivering high currents over short periods of time, making them more suitable than in such applications.

VRLA Technology
VRLA, or Valve Regulated Lead Acid, technology refers to the sealed nature of these batteries. Gas can escape through safety valves only in the event of overcharging or cell failure. VRLA batteries offer the advantage of being maintenance-free throughout their lifespan.

Low Self-Discharge
Thanks to the utilization of lead calcium grids and high-purity materials, Victron VRLA batteries have a significantly low self-discharge rate.
